Damaged or Defective Products
We pack every order with love and care, but sometimes things happen during shipping. If your products arrive damaged:
- 📸 Take photos of the damage (packaging and products)
- 📧 Email us within 7 days at refunds@trippymushroom.ca
- 🔍 Include your order number and photos
We’ll review and either send you a replacement or issue a full refund. Simple as that.
Wrong Items
Did we send you the wrong gummies? Wrong chocolate? Wrong caps? Our bad. Here’s what to do:
- Double-check your order confirmation to make sure
- Email us at refunds@trippymushroom.ca within 7 days
- Tell us what you ordered vs. what you received
We’ll ship the correct items right away at no cost to you, and you can keep the wrong ones (sharing is caring, right?).
Lost or Stolen Packages
We know the anxiety of waiting for a package that never comes. Here’s how we handle it:
📦 Lost in Transit
If tracking shows your package hasn’t moved in 7+ business days, contact us. We’ll investigate with the carrier and either reship or refund you.
🕵️ Stolen Packages
Once tracking shows “Delivered,” the package is in the carrier’s hands and then yours. We’re not responsible for stolen packages, but we feel your pain. Contact us and we’ll do our best to help—sometimes we can work something out.
Pro tip: If you live in a high-theft area, consider shipping to a trusted friend’s address or using Canada Post’s FlexDelivery service for secure pickup.
No Returns on Opened Products
For obvious reasons, we cannot accept returns on products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed. This includes:
- Open bags of gummies
- Partly eaten chocolate bars
- Used mushroom caps
Please make sure you’re happy with your products before diving in!
Change of Mind?
We get it—sometimes we order things and then change our minds. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for change of mind.
If you haven’t opened your order and it’s within 7 days of delivery, maybe we can help. Email us and ask—we’re human and we try to be reasonable. No promises, but it never hurts to ask nicely.
Cancellations
Changed your mind before we ship? No problem.
- Before shipping: Full refund, no questions asked
- After shipping: We can’t cancel once the package is on its way, but you can refuse delivery and we’ll process a refund when it returns to us (minus shipping costs)
Most orders ship within 24 hours, so don’t wait—email us ASAP if you need to cancel.
How Refunds Work
Once we approve your refund:
- 💰 Refunds go back to your original payment method
- ⏱️ It takes 3-10 business days to appear (depending on your bank/card)
- 📧 You’ll get a confirmation email when we process it

Shipping Costs
Here’s who pays for what:
- Our mistake (wrong item, damaged): We cover all costs
- Your mistake (wrong address, refused delivery): You cover return shipping and any reshipment costs
- Lost packages: We cover replacement or refund
Original shipping charges are only refundable if the issue is our fault.
Wrong Address?
Double-check your shipping address before ordering! If you provide the wrong address:
- If the package hasn’t shipped yet, we can update it—email us fast!
- If it’s already shipped, we can’t redirect it. Once it returns to us, you’ll need to pay for reshipping.
Age Verification
You must be 19 or older to purchase from Trippy Mushroom. If we discover an order was placed by someone under 19, we will cancel it and issue a refund minus any shipping costs already incurred.
